Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the leasing process of residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a solid understanding of property leasing practices.
Duties
- Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties that meet their needs and preferences.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features and benefits to encourage leasing decisions.
- Sort and deliver mail to mailboxes.
- Monitor and post to social media.
- Manage the application process, including data entry and administrative tasks related to tenant screening.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process..
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions using Appfolio.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote available properties through upselling techniques and effective marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service.
- Marketing and Social Media Knowledge
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks, with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule adjusts-
Regular winter hours - Monday - Friday. 8:45am-5:15pm,
Spring and Summer. Saturdays during busy spring/summer
Mandatory Turn dates over the summer
40 hours PTO annually and 11 Paid Holidays

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
