Assistant Teacher – West Virginia National Guard Child Development Center
Skies the Limit Academy, a federal government contractor, is seeking motivated, dependable, and compassionate Assistant Teachers to join our team at the West Virginia National Guard Child Development Center.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education who are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children while supporting military-connected families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans, activities, and daily routines
- Assist in creating engaging learning experiences that meet the developmental needs, interests, and abilities of each child
- Employ age-appropriate teaching methods and positive classroom support strategies
- Foster a safe, nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Model professional communication and positive interactions with children, families, staff, and support personnel
- Support effective child guidance practices that promote social-emotional development and positive behavior
- Collaborate with lead teachers and administration to maintain strong classroom operations and program quality
- Participate in ongoing professional development, trainings, and program initiatives as required

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in child care or early childhood settings preferred
