As a Dental Office Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing staff, overseeing financial processes, and maintaining high standards of clinic management to foster a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all administrative functions including scheduling, patient records management, billing, and coding using Carestack.
- Check out patients, Explain treamtent plan, train front team.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and ensuring revenue cycle efficiency through accurate billing and collections.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and health regulation policies.
- Coordinate medical administrative support tasks like managing medical records, medical terminology accuracy, and electronic health records (EHR) management.
- Implement practice management strategies to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and improve overall clinic performance.
- Handle human resources functions including staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care policies, utilization management practices, and hospital or clinic experience requirements to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with a strong understanding of healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a healthcare setting with excellent leadership skills.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Carestack; familiarity with medical administrative support tools is essential.
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards.
- Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle processes.
- Excellent communication skills combined with medical terminology knowledge to effectively interact with staff and patients.
- Background in managing teams as a healthcare practice manager within dental clinics or similar environments is highly desirable.
