We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliverYour expertise in driving different vehicle types. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vacuum trucks.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet schedule requirements while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit and handle special freight such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials with care.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating various truck types including tractor-trailers, tankers, or flatbeds.
- Proven experience in truck driving, delivery routes, or similar roles involving freight transportation.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and the operation of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or other tools when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
- Strong route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and punctuality.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the role including lifting heavy cargo if required.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
