Responsibilities
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures, including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling.
- Perform pet coat styling and pet bathing tasks with precision and care to meet client specifications.
- Conduct animal restraint and handling with patience and professionalism to ensure safety for pets and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Complete pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic bathing services as needed.
- Support kennel duties such as light cleaning, feeding, and supervising pets during their stay when required.
Experience
- Prior dog handling experience or background in animal handling is highly preferred.
- Experience in pet bathing is a strong asset.
- Knowledge or ability to learn of animal restraint techniques and safe handling practices is essential.
- Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure positive interactions with pet owners.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or moving pets safely.
- Previous kennel experience or pet sitting background will be beneficial in managing multiple animals efficiently.
