Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our independent community pharmacy team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients by providing excellent customer service and assisting with front-end pharmacy operations.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and enjoys helping people in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Available to work Monday through Friday from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately
- Assist patients with prescription pickup and direct questions to pharmacy staff when needed
- Answer phones and assist with basic customer inquiries
- Help maintain a clean, organized front-end and retail area
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory as needed
- Coordinate delivery requests and assist with basic pharmacy workflow support
Qualifications:
- Customer service or retail experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic computer and cash register skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Healthcare or pharmacy experience is a plus but not required
