Description:
- Operate CNC machines efficiently and safely.
- Read blueprints, work orders and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks
- Load and operate machines per work order and drawing instructions
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and hand tools
- Monitor machines for problems and relay any problems to the shop supervisor
- Check raw materials for quality ahead of loading into machine
- Prepare raw materials to be loaded into the machine
- Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers.
- Follow production instructions of supervisor to ensure quality
- Carryout basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculator
- Follow written instructions
- Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards
- Complete work orders and quality control documentation
- Willing to cross train in other departments
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area
- Ability to program CNC via CAM software (Surfcam perferably but can train)

- Must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly
- Able to work free of supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
