ShoreSmiles Orthodontics is growing and looking to add an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. We have a positive and supportive team atmosphere and looking for an engaging and detail-oriented person to work with our patients and parents.
Duties include instrument Sterilization, inserting and removing arch wires, 4 handed orthodontic, bonding procedures, taking Orthodontic Records, 3D printing, photos, digital x-rays, patient Education, hygiene, appliance care, emergencies, etc.
The ideal candidate should be smart, friendly, have excellent customer service, and be an outstanding representative for our practice.
We are offering 3 days a week with a rotating schedule (M-F), from 7.15am to 5.15pm.

Requirements:
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
· At least 1 year of Dental Assistant Experience is a plus
· Orthodontic Assistant Experience is a plus
· Gentle and patient with children is a must
· Responsible, reliable, organized
· Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate and empathetic is a must
· Multitasking: needs to be a team player and willing to assist not only the doctor, but the entire team
· Dental Assistant license in the state of Washington required
We are willing to train the Orthodontic part of the job, if the person has the correct personality for this position.
