Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support operational needs.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities to guarantee guest comfort at all times.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment for floor care and industrial cleaning tasks.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold facility standards.
- Support the housekeeping management team in maintaining inventory levels and adhering to cleanliness standards across all areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following health and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
