LONG TERM CARE ACTIVITY EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED AS WELL AS GOOD WORK HISTORY. THIS IS A VERY ACTIVE & FUN ROLE WITH LITTLE DOWN TIME.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented WEEKEND ACTIVITY DIRECTOR to join our team. Job Summary:
The WEEKEND ACTIVITY DIRECTOR plays a vital role in ensuring that residents have quality of life through fun and meaningful activities as planned by the Activity Director. We prefer to find a CERTIFIED ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, but we are willing to consider those with only activities experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all planned activities occur on the weekends.
- Ensure that documentation of attendance is completed.
- Ensure that all residents are invited and encouraged to attend activities.
- Adhere to all facility policies and health codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from residents or staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in long term care activities is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Certification as an Activities Director is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
