At Asana Soul Practice, we believe yoga and mindfulness area journey, not a destination. Walk through our doors and encounter a vibrant community of people with a common interest: a workout not just of the body, but of the mind.We are seeking experienced [vinyasa yoga teachers/yoga sculpt teachers/mat pilates instructors] who are able to commit to at least one weekly class. The opportunity to teach more than one class per week and the opportunity to sub for other instructors is available. Asana Soul Practice teachers are required to:
- Hold a valid certification in the format(s) they teach
- Have at least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging classes in the format(s) they teach
- Hold space 10 minutes prior to each class to greet new students
- Share information about studio workshops and events after class (we provide this to you)
It is preferable if you:
- Live locally to our Hoboken or Jersey City studios (411 Jefferson St. in Hoboken and 124 1st St. in Jersey City)
- Have broad scheduling availability
- Are open to evolving with a studio, and are willing to learn new class formats beyond those you currently teach
Compensation: $40-$50/class (base), salary DOE
