Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently.
- Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are upheld.
- Manage outdoor cleaning tasks like trash removal, window washing, and outdoor surface maintenance to keep exterior spaces tidy.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
- Assist with housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking consumables, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally during cleaning sessions.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
- Experience with carpet cleaning, floor care techniques (including polishing and stripping), and outdoor work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards for kitchens and bathrooms ensures thorough cleaning practices.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or hospitality industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling supplies or equipment.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple locations or shifts.
- Demonstrated reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards while working independently or as part of a team.
