Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and a passion for delivering comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry and ensure efficient workflow.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and implantology to enhance service quality.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and ensure legal compliance.
- Assist with dental fabrication processes and manage medical imaging procedures as needed.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of all treatments performed in accordance with healthcare diagnosis standards.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure renewal.
- Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or healthcare setting; prior experience in implantology or oral surgery is advantageous.
- Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontic procedures, and other advanced treatments confidently.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
