We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and supporting the overall mission of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentist and other staff members to deliver exceptional care in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients.
- Comfortable in administering anesthetic when needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the dental clinic.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment completion.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and best practices.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license.
- Experience with Dentrix software preferred.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral health.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
