The Bankruptcy Law Firm of Clare Casas P.A. is a law office delivering bankruptcy services to consumers in South Florida. Our objective is to provide high quality services to our clients and we take care great care and pride in doing so.
It is a high-paced environment which requires the ability to multi-task and work along side co-workers. If you are looking for a corporate job then this is not the place to apply. We do not have pink slips to fill out to request supplies and we do not hold meetings about meetings. We are a small office and we are fast and responsive. Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant. As the first point of contact for our law firm, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clients and staff. This role requires a warm, welcoming presence and a consistently positive outlook.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping others, communicates clearly and kindly, and can manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for attorneys
- Assist with document preparation, including proofreading and formatting legal documents
- Maintain client files and ensure accurate data entry
- Provide general administrative support, such as filing, scanning, and copying
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events as needed
- Support attorneys with various projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Must be proficient in Spanish both written and spoken
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required
