Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure efficient seating arrangements while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and coordinate with servers to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waiting area and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Assist in providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to enhance guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests.
