Position Summary:
The Business License Compliance Coordinator supports the business license processes and operates in a team-based environment. This position is responsible for resolving compliance issues surfacing from state agencies, internal departments, & Penske field locations as well as providing advice on business license matters. This position will interact with state agencies and internal departments to perform these tasks.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of Business License applications
- Interact with state agencies, internal departments, and Penske locations to secure appropriate business licenses
- Assist with various departmental projects
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Provide recommendations on licensing policy changes
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of business licensing processes and requirements is a plus
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access
- Knowledge of AS400 preferred
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Customer service skills
- Required to:
- Work the required schedule;
- Work at the specific location required;
- Travel as necessary;
- Complete Penske employment application; and
- Submit to a background investigation and drug screening
