About the Opportunity
Core Skills ABA is a new ABA therapy provider launching services in the Fulshear and Katy area, and we are looking for our founding BCBA.
This is not a caseload-mill position. YOU will be the clinical voice helping shape our programs, standards, team culture, and clinical operations from day one—with a defined path to sharing in the company’s success.
The opportunity will begin with a paid credentialing and launch phase. During this phase, you will work with Core Skills ABA and its credentialing support team to complete applications with up to 10 commercial and government insurance payers.
During and after the credentialing phase, this position may turn into a part-time or full-time, hourly position. As the caseload and clinical team grow, the role is designed to expand into a full-time salaried leadership position.
Opportunity to earn a performance-based net profit share (full terms provided upon eligibility).
Credentialing and Launch Phase
The founding BCBA will:
- Provide current BCBA certification, Texas licensure, education history, work history, professional references, liability insurance, and other required credentialing documents
- Complete or update CAQH, DataSphere/DataSpring, or other applicable credentialing profiles
- Authorize selected health plans to access credentialing information
- Complete required payer applications, signatures, attestations, and provider agreements
- Maintain active BCBA certification and Texas licensure throughout the credentialing process
- Collaborate and attentively respond to Core Skills ABA and its credentialing consultant throughout the application process
- Participate in reasonable launch-planning and clinical-development meetings
The selected BCBA will receive a $2,500 flat credentialing and launch stipend for completing their required responsibilities for up to 10 agreed-upon insurance credentialing applications.
Payment will be based on the BCBA’s completion of required documentation, signatures, attestations, and responses. Payment will not depend solely on the insurance companies’ final approval decisions or processing timelines.
We Care About YOU
Sustainable caseloads. We are committed to building our clinical model around ethical, high-quality care—not excessive billing targets. Caseload expectations will be based on what can be managed effectively and responsibly.
Transparency from the beginning. You will understand the company’s current launch stage, how the credentialing phase works, and when clinical hours are expected to begin.
Real flexibility. The initial phase will be largely remote. As services launch, in-person availability will be needed in Fulshear during approximately one week each month, depending on client and operational needs.
A seat at the table. Your clinical judgment will directly influence how Core Skills ABA develops its programs, policies, hiring standards, documentation procedures, and clinical culture.
Growth built in. This opportunity is designed to progress from credentialing and launch support into part-time clinical work and, as the caseload grows, a full-time clinical leadership position.
