American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Hospital setting in the MS/Tele nursing unit

Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
-
Contract options available from 13 to 18 weeks

Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

NIHSS certification preferred

Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Background check must not include any open cases

No license hits accepted

Nicotine-free requirement waived for nurses

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass

PBDS assessment waived for this position

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date

Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
