Established in 2000 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company serving private, resort, daily fee, and public courses. At the heart of our work is a commitment to serving people and creating exceptional experiences for members, guests, and employees. We live by our core values: Make People Happy, Do What You Say, Strive for Excellence, Be Driven, and Grow Every Day. These principles shape our culture and drive our success. As Bobby Jones said, “The secret of golf is to turn three shots into two.” That same pursuit of excellence defines everything we do.
Live Oaks Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, opened in 1969, designed by architect John F. Stahl. We are an 18-hole, par 71 semi-private course sitting on 130 acres just northwest of Jackson. The course stretches just under 6,600 yards with gently rolling fairways through a parkland setting shaded by 200-year-old live oak trees. Live Oaks has undergone quite the transformation over the last six years with the creation of the Reed House, Top-5 in state wedding venue, renovation of our Roosevelt’s restaurant and construction of our “Bunkhouse” which is one the most unique accommodations in Mississippi. Through these projects and future plans, Live Oaks is primed to become a premier destination for all golfers in and around Jackson.
