We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CFSS (Certified Family Support Specialist) and PCA (Personal Care Assistant) workers to join our dynamic care team. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- observe their overall health status
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Support clients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Engage in cleaning duties to uphold a safe, hygienic environment within homes or care facilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans based on each individual’s needs and goals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques
- Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings
- Proficiency in caregiving tasks including assisting with ADLs, medication management, and meal preparation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- CPR certification and first aid training are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with vulnerable populations
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while maintaining flexibility for individual needs
