About the Role:
CNC Machinist
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking to work with cutting-edge technology and precision equipment? We’re looking for a skilled machinist to join our 1st shift team and play a key role in producing critical tooling and components that support our high-speed stamping operations.
In this role, you’ll run a variety of CNC machines to build new tools, repair existing components, and support internal production demands. You’ll work from prints, set up your own jobs, and ensure every cut meets the exacting tolerances we expect. If you take pride in doing things right the first time, we want to hear from you.
Description
Precision Work in a Tooling Environment
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll work in a shop that builds and maintains high-speed progressive stamping dies. Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating mills, lathes, EDMs, and other CNC equipment to produce complex parts from tool steel and other materials. You’ll also assist with machining die components during repair and maintenance cycles.
What You Bring
You have a strong understanding of CNC machining and the ability to work from detailed blueprints, CAD models, and job instructions. You’re comfortable setting up your own jobs, selecting tools, and inspecting parts to ensure accuracy. Experience working in a tooling or die shop is preferred, especially if you’ve worked with tight tolerances and hardened materials.
Shop Collaboration
You’ll work closely with our toolmakers, designers, and production team to make sure each component fits the need. Whether you’re machining a new punch or modifying a die plate to resolve a problem on the floor, you’ll have visibility into the entire process — and your work will directly support uptime and tool performance.
