Duties:
- Safely operate semi tractors, tanker trailers and hoppers.
- Load and unload materials .
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for delivery or pickup of materials.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or dump trucks.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of driving long distances and lifting heavy objects.
