JOB The Security for Residence Life is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors within Iowa Western's residence halls. The employee works closely with Iowa Western Residence Life and Security staff to monitor the Residence Life halls and maintain a visible presence to foster a sense of security and community.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Monitor Residence Life halls and surrounding areas and detect and deter unauthorized activities.

Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, alarms

Assist Residence Life student and pro staff with conduct situations

Provide assistance to housing students including conflict resolution, theft, vandalism, and security reports
