Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development across multiple practice areas.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for court depositions, trials, and hearings by organizing evidence and preparing witness lists.
- Support client communication efforts by providing updates and answering inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Participate in statutory legal research related to employment law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, and other specialized fields.
- Contribute to case management by maintaining organized files, tracking deadlines, and updating case status reports.
- Attend court proceedings and observe trial procedures to gain practical litigation experience under supervision.
Skills
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
- Excellent legal writing and drafting abilities for contracts, motions, and pleadings.
- Knowledge of procedural law and courtroom procedures relevant to civil litigation.
- Effective negotiation skills for settlement discussions and client advocacy.
- Familiarity with diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, employment law, personal injury law, and tribal regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Experience with legal case management software and administrative tasks related to legal practice.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
