Duties
- Stock frozen products efficiently using RF scanners and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and arrange inventory according to store or warehouse merchandising standards
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to ensure stock accuracy and proper rotation of products
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring safe handling practices during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the freezer area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment or sale
- Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying deliveries and updating inventory management systems
Skills
- Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, management, and merchandising techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling with proper safety practices
- Bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse team members and customers
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and product placement
- Familiarity with retail store operations, grocery or produce departments is advantageous
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers when needed
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, pricing, and retail math calculations
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork and store cleanliness
