Mackinaw Timbers Cabins is looking for one or two Guest Prep Team Members to help prepare our cabins between guests.
Guest Prep is much more than a fussy cleaning. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning, organizing and making things look their very best so our cabins feel welcoming the moment guests walk in.
Guest Prep includes cleaning and resetting cabins, linens and laundry, restocking supplies, organizing and paying attention to the little details that make our cabins truly guest-ready.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable with high integrity
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning and takes pride in doing it well
- Comfortable working independently
- Comfortable using a cell phone and basic technology
- Dependable about communicating and following through
Schedule:
Flexible, part-time work, generally 5–15 hours per week. Hours can usually be worked around other commitments. Weekday work is most common, but weekend hours are also available if preferred. Weekend and holiday work is rarely required.
Pay:
Training pay is $15–$17 per hour depending on experience, with the goal of increasing to $20 per hour once fully trained and working independently to Mackinaw Timbers standards.
Independent cleaners and small cleaning businesses are welcome to apply. Compensation may be hourly or by the cabin depending on experience and the working arrangement. Anyone working in our cabins must meet Mackinaw Timbers' Guest Prep standards and background screening requirements.
