What You'll Do
As the Assistant Resident Care Director, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring residents receive outstanding care while helping oversee daily operations within the Assisted Living department.
Responsibilities Include:
✅ Supporting and coaching caregivers and medication technicians
✅ Assisting with resident assessments and service plans
✅ Monitoring resident wellness and ensuring quality care standards
✅ Assisting with scheduling, staffing, training, and daily department operations
✅ Helping maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies
✅ Partnering with families, residents, physicians, and community leadership
✅ Supporting move-ins, resident transitions, and care coordination
✅ Assisting with medication management and clinical oversight
✅ Creating a positive, resident-centered environment where residents and team members thrive
What We're Looking For
Required:
✔ Current Virginia LPN License OR
✔ Experienced Medication Technician with strong leadership experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care
✔ CPR Certification
✔ Minimum age of 21
✔ Ability to pass background screening
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
⭐ Previous Assisted Living or Memory Care experience
⭐ Supervisory or team leadership experience
⭐ Experience training and mentoring care staff
⭐ Knowledge of state regulations and medication administration
⭐ Passion for serving seniors and leading by example
