Store Manager-Sand Cloud
Sand Cloud is a beach lifestyle brand that specializes in beach towels and accessories. Founded on the beaches of San Diego in 2014, Sand Cloud encompasses the beach vibes of Southern California, and aims to serve customers with unique and useful products for everyday use. Our mission has always been to create sustainable products, and also donate a portion of our profits to non-profit organizations that are dedicated to sustainability and marine life preservation.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to guide our team and drive success in our flagship location in Pacific Beach. We are looking for someone who is passionate and fits our mission of caring about community, our oceans and marine life.
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store’s operations and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. You will lead a team of passionate individuals, manage inventory, drive sales, and uphold our brand standards. This role requires extensive experience in retail management. The position is in person and reports to the General Area Manager.
Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
● Manage all aspects of store operations
● Recruit, train and motivate a high performing team to deliver outstanding customer service
● Develop and implement sales strategies to meet store targets and maximum revenue
● Oversee inventory levels, conduct routine stock assessment and ensure accurate merchandising
● Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement and proactively tackle challenges
● Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with healthy and safety regulations
● Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, creativity and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Minimum 4+ years’ experience in retail management required in a managerial role
● Strong leadership skills
● Exceptional organizational skills
● Excellent verbal and communication skills
● Proficiency in meeting deadlines efficiently
● Maintain active floor presence, including extended periods of time standing and walking
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
● Comfortable to use a ladder
● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
