Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic lead generation, cold calling, and networking within designated territories.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, property managers, and other stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase roofing solutions and construction services tailored to client needs.
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional services or products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze territory performance for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and territories effectively.
- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques including cold calling and inside sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for customer relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to analyze market trends, product demos, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
