Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Niceville, Florida.
This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for children and families while helping maintain efficient clinical operations in a fast-paced pediatric environment.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
No weekends
Sedation days occur approximately 1–2 times per month and require early arrival (typically between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM).
What You'll Do
- Assist providers using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms
- Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with Florida regulations
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Support pediatric patients and parents throughout treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Assist with inventory, lab cases, and daily clinical organization
- Help maintain efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Prior dental assisting experience required
- Pediatric dental experience preferred
- Radiology certification preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- EFDA certification preferred (support available after training period)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
