Our growing neurosurgery and interventional pain practice is seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and motivated healthcare professional to join our procedure team.
This individual will play an integral role in assisting physicians with fluoroscopically guided spine procedures performed under local anesthetic, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations (rhizotomies).
Job can range from 6-9 hours per week, with additional opportunities available.
Responsibilities include preparing patients before procedures, assisting with patient positioning and C-arm positioning, maintaining sterile technique, preparing equipment and supplies, supporting the physician during procedures, monitoring patients during recovery, and helping ensure a safe, efficient, and exceptional patient experience.
We are seeking an individual who enjoys procedural medicine, works well in a team environment, demonstrates outstanding attention to detail, and is committed to delivering the highest level of patient care. Experience in pain management, neurosurgery, orthopedics, interventional radiology, surgery, or fluoroscopic procedures is strongly preferred.
Preferred qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) with procedural experience. Prior experience assisting with fluoroscopically guided procedures is strongly preferred.
Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
