ReSource Lewiston is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator
Under general supervision of Shift Supervisor, responsible for the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of the assigned equipment (excavator, front-end loader; bobcat; yard tractor, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment (excavator, front-end loader, etc.)
- Unloading of inbound vehicles, stacking, storing and feeding of C&D material
- Loading of outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste
- Loading main process line in-feed conveyor and shearing bulky materials for processing.
- Management and stockpiling of all unprocessed and processed materials.
- Material transportation for processing.
- Loading main process line in-feed conveyor and shearing bulky materials for processing.
- Site maintenance and construction including ditching for erosion control and surface water collection, etc.
- Seasonal maintenance.
- Performing maintenance and light repair of company-owned or leased mobile equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator.
- Must have the ability to exercise good judgment, be able to focus on detail as required by the job, as well as multitask.
- Work in a fast pace environment, construction or recycling preferred
- Mechanical background as operator – will be performing service on the equipment.
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday with some Saturday shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical background a plus.
