Our growing law firm is seeking an experienced Business & Real Estate Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our collaborative legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our managing partners while representing businesses, property owners, and individuals in sophisticated business and real estate disputes.

Responsibilities:
As a Business & Real Estate Litigation Attorney, you will:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage all phases of written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare and argue motions.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and assist clients in resolving complex disputes.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and developments.
- Work closely with the firm's managing partners on sophisticated litigation matters.
- Maintain accurate time records and meet the firm's annual billable hour requirement.
Qualifications:
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum 5 years of business and/or real estate litigation experience.
- Strong experience handling complex civil litigation matters.
- Proven experience taking and defending depositions.
- Extensive motion practice experience.
- Experience appearing in California state courts.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple active cases.
- Ability to consistently meet a minimum annual requirement of 1,550 billable hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Business litigation
- Commercial litigation
- Real estate litigation
- Contract disputes
- Partnership and shareholder disputes
- Commercial lease disputes
- Purchase and sale agreement disputes
- Quiet title, easement, boundary, and property disputes
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
