In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out. Top hourly pay for personal with previous dental office experience.
<Responsibilities>
- Greet patients warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks
- Collect payments and process co-pays with accuracy
- Review and update patient medical records while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans in clear terms
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and respond promptly to patient inquiries
<Requirements>
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation review efficiently
