Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, a dynamic Preschool–12th grade Jewish day school, seeks a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Head of School. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the central point of contact for the Head of School’s office, managing a busy calendar, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the Head of School’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Coordinating communication with faculty, parents, students, board members, and community partners
Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations
Organizing meeting materials and maintaining records and files
Greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism
Handling confidential information with discretion
Supporting school events and projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior administrative experience required (experience in a school or nonprofit setting a plus)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and calendar management tools
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
Warm, professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with Jewish customs and Holidays
