American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Pediatrics clinic, requiring at least 1 year of clinic experience and BLS certification, with first-time travelers welcome.

Work in an outpatient pediatric clinic located within a multi-specialty medical building
-
Unit spans 45 rooms across two floors with an average daily census of 130 patients
-
Patient population ranges from neonates to 18 years old, including well child visits, vaccines, ADHD, sick visits, respiratory issues like RSV, and some special needs and autistic patients
-
Will not be assigned to the Asthma Clinic or Healthy Future Clinic

Handles approximately 12 patients per AM and PM session
-
Assigned to a specific hallway working alongside a rotating group of providers rather than one dedicated provider
-
Scheduled for 8-hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 0745-1815

No weekend rotation, on-call responsibilities, or holiday requirements

No floating required

Uses Epic EMR (experience preferred) and point-of-care (POC) testing equipment

Active LPN license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required

BLS certification required

Comfortable administering vaccines to children and performing phlebotomy

Skilled in rooming patients, reviewing health histories and reason for visit, collecting vitals, and reviewing allergies

Pediatric experience preferred but not required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

At least one professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
-
Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering vaccines, performing phlebotomy, reviewing health histories, collecting vitals, and reviewing allergies

Works alongside a supportive team including Patient Service Reps, a Clinic Supervisor, an RN Lead, 48 residents, 5 MDs, and 5 APPs

LPNs are required to wear gray scrubs

Free parking is available on-site

Orientation (NEO) can last up to 15 days depending on comfort level, with up to 5 days spent in each area utilized

First-time travelers will be considered for this role

PTO requests must be approved through the manager

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

Returning travelers must have been separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position
