The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our expanding group. The position is full time and will include dedicated weeks on service in the CVICU, as well as time practicing anesthesiology in the OR and off-site locations at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.

Casework and Schedule

8-12 weeks on service in the CVICU (negotiable), with home call overnight. The intensivists oversee a growing team of APP’s, caring for postoperative cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and TAVR patients

Remaining clinical weeks will include general OR coverage, OB, and some healthy pediatric cases

OR call responsibilities are adjusted in proportion to the number of ICU service weeks
- BC/BE in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine required
- Ability to sit for the ABA Subspeciality Certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is welcome but not required
- Eligible for Michigan licensure
- Research and education experience and interests are preferred but not required
