Description:
Supports the operation of front and back-end fare collection systems, including installations, reporting, and monitoring. Troubleshooting network issues with various departments
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Supports Point of Sale & Fare collection systems, including but not limitedto testing, development,installation, reporting and monitoring.
- Required to travel for equipment installations, monitoring, training, etc.
- Manages day to day testing and implementation of technological advancements andsoftware upgrades. Assist troubleshooting production issues.
- Provide technical guidance and acts as liaison to user departments and vendorsfor the coordination of equipment installations, implementation, and end usertraining.
- Required to assist in other areas within POS and Fare Collection Department,including but not limited to TVM's, TOM's, Platform Validators, OBVs.
TechnicalSkills/Knowledge:
- Experience with SAP desired but not required.
- Knowledge in fare collection technology desired but not required.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office application.
- Motivated and organized.
- Knowledgewith Excel.
- Validdriver's license is required.
