Position Summary
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care, assists with daily living activities, and helps create a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately in written or electronic records
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active CNA certification in the state
- Physically and mentally able to perform job duties
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate
Pay and Schedule
- $16.71 to $17.73 per hour, based on experience
- Additional $2/hour for all hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM
- Part-time overnight position: 10 PM – 6 AM
- Every other weekend required
