Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roller Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various machining processes. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of our products as we strive for excellence in manufacturing.
Duties
As a Roller Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining roller machinery to produce high-quality components.
- Performing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machinery as needed.
- Utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute production tasks effectively.
- Conducting quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain standards.
- Collaborating with team members on assembly tasks and fabrication projects.
- Adhering to safety protocols while operating machinery including CNC milling machines, plasma cutters, and stamping presses.
- Assisting in the maintenance of equipment and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
Must know the thickness of 3/8' and 5'. Work independently, operate a Davi plate roller, understand how the machine rolls and the pinch pressure processes, know how to use pushers to align bevel edges, be familiar with the controls, and be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machine.
