Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements at the tournament venue
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude throughout the event
- Buss tables promptly to keep the dining area clean and organized, supporting smooth flow of service
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine and beverage options, enhancing guest experience
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently during service
- Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations, including food preparation areas and beverage stations
- Engage with guests positively, managing guest relations professionally to create a lively tournament atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- Knowledge of food handling, beverage service, wine knowledge, and food safety standards required
- Experience with POS systems and basic math skills for order processing and billing
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality or fine dining experience is advantageous but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the event
