Duties
- Operate HPP machinery with precision, ensuring proper loading, sealing, and processing of food products according to safety standards.
- Monitor equipment performance during processing cycles, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation.
- Conduct routine sanitation and cleaning of machinery and work areas to uphold strict hygiene standards.
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading materials and packaging components while adhering to safety procedures.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, verifying labels, seals, and product integrity before release.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or restaurant/kitchen environments demonstrating familiarity with food handling and preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems including HACCP, CGMP, and sanitation procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate machinery safely; basic troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Basic math skills for measurements and quality assessments; attention to detail is essential.
- Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards related to food processing and manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
