The Service Technician will perform repair work and maintenance for equipment and parts.

Diagnose mechanical defects and determine extent of needed repair in tractors, skid steers, track loaders, cranes, mowers, forklifts, rollers, compactors, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, scrapers, excavators and other diesel and gas-powered agricultural, construction and turf equipment, to include handheld equipment.

Weld and fabricate.

Diagnose and repair automotive-style air conditioning systems.

Perform diagnostics on CAN Bus systems.

Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical wiring.

Perform diagnostics and repairs on hydraulic systems, including but not limited to pumps, motors, and cylinders.

Electronically documents repairs fully in a clearly understood manner.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic computing skills including Microsoft Office.

Extensive knowledge of all aspects of equipment repair.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.

Ability to read parts manuals and correctly select parts needed for equipment repairs.

Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
