Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, weedeating, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscape features
- Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy plant growth
- Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and tree care activities following safety protocols
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly to protect plants from pests and diseases
Requirements
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscaping principles and horticulture practices
- Mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Ability to identify plants, trees, and pests accurately for effective landscape management
- Familiarity with pesticide management, safety protocols, and groundskeeping standards
- Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers for various landscaping tasks
- Knowledge of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all outdoor activities and equipment operation
- Experience with Walker Mowers is desired
