United Post House is building a roster of experienced freelance colorists for commercial, branded, agency, and social-first campaigns.
We are looking for a colorist who can create polished, premium images, protect skin tones, match shots cleanly, and work well with editors, finishing artists, producers, directors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Grade commercial, branded, and social campaign projects
- Create polished looks based on director, agency, client, or reference direction
- Match shots across scenes, cameras, lighting setups, and formats
- Maintain clean skin tones, product accuracy, contrast, saturation, and color consistency
- Prepare graded timelines or renders for finishing, online, and delivery
- Work from XML, EDL, AAF, reference files, camera originals, proxies, or prepped Resolve projects
- Collaborate with editors, Flame artists, VFX artists, and producers
- Handle revisions professionally and on deadline
- Deliver graded masters, handles, individual clips, or project files depending on scope
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in DaVinci Resolve, Baselight, or comparable professional color system
- Commercial, branded, agency, music video, documentary, or high-end social experience preferred
- Strong eye for skin tones, product color, shot matching, and premium image polish
- Understanding of color-managed workflows, LOG footage, LUTs, ACES, HDR/SDR, codecs, frame rates, and delivery specs
- Ability to work remotely with organized project handoffs
- Comfortable taking creative direction and client notes
- Reliable communication and deadline discipline
Ideal Fit

Compensation
Freelance day rate based on experience. Starting at $700/day, with higher rates available based on reel, experience, client-facing ability, and project scope.
