Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Damage Specialist to join our dynamic restoration team. Duties
- Assess water-damaged properties to determine the extent of damage and develop effective remediation plans
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture detection using specialized equipment and hand tools
- Conduct mold remediation procedures to eliminate mold growth safely and prevent future issues
- Execute fire restoration tasks including debris removal, smoke odor mitigation, and structural cleaning
- Utilize power tools and construction techniques for repairs, demolition, or rebuilding affected areas
- Clean carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces impacted by water or fire damage using industry-standard methods
- Follow safety protocols for asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and handling hazardous materials to ensure compliance with regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes, including moisture detection and drying techniques
- Hands-on experience with cleaning services such as carpet cleaning or upholstery restoration
- Familiarity with fire restoration procedures and mold remediation practices
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during restoration projects
- Experience with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
