As an Expeditor for Grand Café at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will deliver efficient and exceptional plated menu items while maintaining a sense of urgency in the execution of the expo line and fast-efficient clearing of tabletops throughout the restaurant.

What will you be doing?
- Thoroughly understand the menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and expected service.
- Deliver all required Service Accents to the guest (e.g., SSA presentation, bread presentation, horseradish/cheese grating, and dessert presentation)
- Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment
- Transport and polish clean wares, utensils, and accessories to area needed
- Must be proficient in multi-tasking and bridging the service between the Front of House and Back of House
- Must comply with opening and closing duties as well as running side work necessities
- Communicate directly and consistently with the culinary and management team
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding service, product, and personnel
- Must effectively process service responsibilities from service staff, such as from servers and bartenders
- Has the ability to verbally describe and present the hotel’s food offerings in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
What do you bring to the role?
- High school or equivalent required
- One year or more of service assistance experience in a fine dining outlet
- Able to read, write, and speak in English
- Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel, and general public
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
