We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining high culinary standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards (e.g., pasta dishes, sauces, antipasti, risottos, meats, seafood, etc.)
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Assist with food prep and batch cooking as directed by the Head Chef
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Monitor food quality and freshness; report any issues to kitchen management
- Assist in receiving and properly storing food deliveries
- Follow portion control standards and minimize food waste

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a professional kitchen; Italian cuisine experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary school training is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
