Position Summary
Lifeline Inflatable Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Inflatable Boat Tube Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning specialized repair techniques, and working in a marine service environment.
The technician will assist with the inspection, cleaning, repair, maintenance, and installation of inflatable boat tubes and related components. This is an entry-level role focused on learning the trade; candidates are not expected to manufacture inflatable tubes independently upon hire. Training will be provided in repair procedures, materials handling, and industry best practices.
In addition to technical duties, this position is responsible for helping maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment, including inventory management, equipment upkeep, and general facility support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection, cleaning, and repair of inflatable boat tubes and marine inflatables.
- Prepare surfaces and materials for repairs and installations.
- Learn and follow established procedures for tube maintenance, patching, and restoration.
- Assist senior technicians with tube installations and service projects.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in safe working condition.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, supplies, and materials.
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming shipments.
- Keep warehouse and production areas clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
- Document completed work and assist with service records as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a specialized trade.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and moving materials throughout the workday.
- Basic organizational and warehouse skills preferred.
- Previous experience in marine service, upholstery, fabrication, warehouse operations, or general mechanical work is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
